It strengthens the shaft of the hair and improves its texture, making it look healthier and well taken care of. It is also known to promote hair growth and strengthen hair. Vetiver (Vetiveria Zizanioides Root Oil) is an earthy root oil that contains cell-renewing agents which stimulate collagen formation – a major component of hair. As we age, the production of collagen slows, resulting in weakened cell structures that cause hair to be less elastic and lifeless. Vetiver boosts collagen production which helps bring life back to our hair while staving off dryness and dullness.
